Mellen is Canada’s highest certified female snowboard instructor, and has worked in both northern and southern hemisphere winters. Mellen has been an RMT since 2012, working as a RMT between winters and has taught physiology at a massage college. Mellen moved to the Okanagan in 2004, first to Silver Star and then to Big White. Over 22 years as a professional snowboard instructor, as well as a recreational Ironman triathlete she find the best outcomes in healing, injury prevention, pain management and general well being come from a pre-habilitation and rehabilitation routine that includes massage therapy.
